We act as an organization much the same way we do as individuals, with an observant eye and a compassionate heart toward the problems that exist in the world - what our GCD, Jeff Durham has referred to as, "matters of the human condition."

We're lucky that our business puts us in a position to help people be vocal about their challenges, allowing us to exercise our desire to be a good corporate citizen in many ways, and giving us an important outlet to exercise our personal convictions as well. And we do.

Have a look at some of the award winning work we've done for our not-for-profit friends. Also, several of our staffers talks about their personal efforts at volunteerism and philanthropy in their bios. Check it out.

personal contributions

As important as social responsibility is to our company, individually we feel the pull to serve our communities and causes, too. It's a tough world out there – and we're looking to soften it. Some of us are really into it, trading our weekends, running events (running in events) collecting donations, consulting or creating the marketing, and involving our families and friends. Some of us serve at the board level of these organizations or have been instrumental in the creation of non-profits ourselves.

So we're not just experienced with not-for-profit businesses, we take their business to heart. That's what makes us really good at using our marketing skills to help them compete.

And because we like to share them, our bios often have information about how we, as individuals give back. Read here if that's of interest to you.

volunteerism

What is more important than helping others? Well it's a matter of where you place your priorities, but in terms of shaping the way we feel about ourselves, few things are as material (or reciprocal) as volunteerism – becoming personally involved in the causes that we can get behind – the ones that seem to give back more than what we put in.
